Omari began his training at the age of 6 at Carla’s Dance Factory, where he spent 10 years competing regionally and nationally as a member of the CDF Performing Company, developing a strong technical foundation across multiple styles.
After high school, he continued his education at Kennesaw State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Media and Entertainment with a minor in Dance. During his time there, he was a member of the KSU Dance Company, where he discovered the power of movement as a storytelling tool and further developed his choreographic voice. In 2022, he was selected to represent the university as a choreographer at the American College Dance Association Southeast Conference and received the Choreography Recognition Scholarship.
Since then, Omari has worked professionally as a dancer with companies including Dance Canvas, Fly on a Wall, Monica Hogan Danceworks, Movement The Company, and Southern Arc Dance Theatre. As a choreographer, he has created award-winning work for companies, dance teams, studios, and theatre. He has also been featured in publications such as CanvasRebel and VoyageATL.
Omari is passionate about sharing his love for dance and continues to develop his artistry as both a performer and choreographer.
